Instructional Conference 2015 – Two Cities in Two Days
Dear WFEA Members,
West Fargo is growing at an unprecedented rate. Our student enrollment is growing by leaps and bounds every year (500-600 students each year for the next decade), and we are facing some very severe restrictions on how we can house and educate the increasing number of students coming through our doors.
As you may already know, a referendum will go up for a public vote this Nov. 17, to approve a bond package that will address several identified needs within our schools, including:

Whole Foods: for a Healthier and More Energetic You is the topic of A&R's next Professional Development workshop. We will again be collecting toys at the Annual Holiday Party. The United Labor Agency will distribute the toys to union members who are unemployed or on strike. See details on the registration form.

CTDOL Update and Reminder - 9/26/15
A&R will be holding the next Lunch and Learn session at 165 Capital Avenue, in Hartford. Lunch and Learn sessions are an opportunity for members to discuss workplace issues directly with Union leadership. Contract negotiations have just gotten underway. If you'd like to hear firsthand how negotiations are proceeding, please attend. We will be available to answer your questions.
