As we learn that the cases of COVID 19 have spiked in our state, more people are urging caution in reopening schools in August. FEA conducted a poll just a few weeks ago while the coronavirus spread appeared to be on the decline. (See the results below.) Even during the decline, parents overwhelmingly said they wanted schools to proceed with caution. They also indicated they put their trust in their teachers and their local school leaders in making decisions about how to safely reopen schools.
