Washington, D.C. lobbyists try to silence Louisiana’s public servants
Once again, some Louisiana lawmakers have introduced bills that would prohibit public employees from paying their professional organization dues through payroll deduction.
The Part-time Faculty Association of Maine (PATFA) is a Local of the American Federation of Teachers, which is planning its every-two-years Convention for July 2014 in Los Angeles. AFT rules and federal law require PATFA to give its members reasonable opportunity to be nominated as delegates.

The Boys Book Club of Guys Read at Bennett is a project that was established and run during the first three sessions or our afterschool activities. I began this project with many different goals in mind. The first and foremost was to re-instill the love of books for many of the boys I have contact with on a regular basis as an AIS Reading Teacher.
